Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced that the country would continue to create favorable conditions for the foreign business community and maintain its “open-door” policy regarding foreign investment.
Tokayev made this statement in Astana during a ceremony where ambassadors from nine countries presented their letters of credence.
“We welcome all foreign businesspeople and major companies wishing to come to Kazakhstan and operate here. I believe this fundamental policy will continue,” Tokayev said.
The President also emphasized that Kazakhstan would continue to pursue a peaceful foreign policy, advance political reforms, and strengthen cooperation with international partners.
